This is designed for kids who are advanced to coding and game design and are between the age of 9 and 11. This program is under the Mid-Level Coding, Robotics and AI Skillset. Students acquire key skills including literacy, numeracy, and basic science while digital, social and civic skills are also now deemed essential.
Our curriculum is designed to build students’ interest in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) topics, cultivating their skills through project-based learning and collaboration, enhancing their analytical problem-solving skills. Computational thinking continues to be a key element for the development of the four key skills: decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction and algorithms.
During this term, the students are introduced to coding, robotics and artificial intelligence. The children get to write code related to the learning outcomes of the specific CBC sub-strand!
Term Objective:
Number of Quizzes : 9
Number of Hands-On Labs: 2
Individual Project: 1
During this term, the students dive deeper into robotics and artificial intelligence by understanding the hardware devices and components, programming methods and impact of robotics and artificial intelligence to the society!
